A short but challenging hike. It starts off easy and goes through shrubs then quickly gets steep as you walk on loose rocks. Be aware of the many false paths as you ascend and descend. Shoes with good grip are a must as well as sunscreen as the trail is fully exposed until you reach the cave. The cave itself doesn't go too far back but is very cool nonetheless. Views of Makua Beach down to Kaena Point can be seen from the cave.
