Love this beach their is big open area such as baseball/football field basketball/volleyball court for your young athletes of yours, also a jungle gym for those much littler rascals! And you can do much more with your family and friends here parties picnics and gatherings
Peace and Quiet. Nice place to just relax. Great place to take the children. My little girl Loves spending time here.
The best place to go camping... This is one we frequently visit... The ocean at times can be rough and the current strong so I suggest visiting when the life guards are on duty if you're not a strong swimmer or new to the area... The parking maybe a challenge if there is campers but other then that... Limited shaded area but its all sand... Early mornings the dolphins visit the beach just to play... Nothing bad to say about Kalanianaole Beach Park...
Waimanalo Beach Park area is where this place took me back to in time (7mo. ago) I actually came here to buy a bottle of Hawaiian Lemonade w/Li hing mui. And i LOVED it. When you buy a bottle, keep it for the next time you visit any one of their place of business. You'll get a refill for half price.
The beach is a gem on this side of the island. Good boogie boarding location, bit of a strong undertow but taught my 9 and 12 year old how to handle it and they loved it hear. Life guard on duty too.
