The beach reef area is pretty dead.

Favorite beach of my whole trip! The water is very calm and the beach isn't over crowded and if you keep a lookout you can see turtles out in the ocean. Definitely worth a visit.
This is public beach. Parking is close to beach area.
Pokai Bay Beach Park is a great place to relax after a stressing work week. In my opinion it would be better to got there early to relax before it gets to hot. It starts to get more crowded as the days goes on.
Cove causes protective waters perfect for SUP and children. Calmer than other beaches.
There are some nice spots for snirkling.
Lots of bums so becareful.
People tend to mind their own business.
