Beautiful sandy beach far away from the noise and traffic of Waikiki, but only if one doesn't mind the near 50 mile drive towards the other lesser used end of the island of Oahu.
The current is strong around here for recreational swimming, however the waves are lovely for the surf seeking adventurers. There are also sand banks to slide down on body boards and hit the waves, a delightful activity for adrenalin kids.
Classic surf, spot, awesome wave break, beautiful views. Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that it gets pretty crowded in the line up, but it deserves 5 stars.
This is very nice it's never to crowded. It's good surfing beach for me but I'm only an amateur. There are lifeguards which is nice just in chance.
It has great low surf for kids to play. Some awesome sea shells found here! Not too crowded. Good parking, getting out of space was fairly easy.
Nice surf. Children should be accompanied by an adult. Beautiful sandy beach.
