Peaceful and quiet. Great getaway! Highly recommend for those looking to get away from Honolulu.
Every time. LOVE IT! Just got back from our second stay here and it's the best. We rent through Discount Hawaii Condos and Kathy takes care of you. It's right on the beach, fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean. Not all the condos are up to date and if you are picky about amenities than this might not be he right place for you. Traffic on the leeward side is horrible in the evenings with construction (ongoing for like 6 years now! No really a sign says construction started in 2011!). And it's a pain to get anywhere on the island because of traffic and only three roads, but the views and the sounds make up for it. I miss it already. We never use the pool or the tennis courts so I can't say much about that. The condos are very secure and staff friendly. It's in a cove with barely any beach traffic. You have the whole beach to yourself. And lots of sea life and good snorkeling on some days.
If you're worried that Waianae may not be the greatest town in Oahu, it is still a safe area and the locals mind their own. The Hawaiian Princess is a great place to stay out of tourist-infested Honolulu. FYI, A billiards table would make a fine addition.
We are staying in unit 1208 and it is better than we imagined. Gorgeous 180°views of the private beach and the mountains from the huge wrap around lanai. Everything is so clean, updated and all the furniture including the bed are so comfortable. The owners have left us so many things like towels, soaps, blankets extra pillows, comforters, games, movies and extra towels. This place and this unit especially we are blown away by! We just got it late last night and left the sliding glass doors open to feel and hear the waves coming in! So peaceful and beautiful! This is our honeymoon and the owner even left us a bottle of champagne and some chocolates! So pleased and confident our honeymoon will be amazing! Thank you!
Had a blast. The location was perfect, being right on the beach with the west view of the ocean. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Not what we thought. The grounds are well cared for the pool is small but good. The beach, its really beautiful. The condo we stayed in need a major remodel.
